When adopting a Jape Snake, you agree to these terms.
TERMS OF SERVICES
Purchasing
All sales are finals.
- Failling to pay within 24 hours of claiming will result on the snake being put back for sale. You may ask for a hold up to 5 days though.
- Cash payment is in USD, and is completed through PayPal invoices.
- The conversion rate I use for points is 1 USD = 100 points.
- Upon buying/winning a JS, I will note you a HD resolution file of it. If you lose it, you may ask for it again.
Ownership
While you own a Jape Snake, certain rules must be followed.
- You may not change the traits of the Jape Snake, unless you have a Trait Ticket. Changes must be approved by Blacat.
- You may redesign a Jape Snake you have gotten, but the new design needs to keep some similarities with the old one. Those changes, even if minor, must be approved.
- You may scar/amputate/give accessories/clothing to your jape snake without needing it to be approved. If you wish those changes to appear on the masterlist entry of your snake, you may note the ML account jape-snakes.
- Once you own a Jape Snake, you are free to give it a personnality, backstory, etc. You may keep the JS on its canon homeworld (Elsewhere), or you may take it to your own stories.
Trading/reselling
While you own a Jape Snake, certain rules must be followed.
- To see if you may sell a Jape Snake, or only trade/gift it, please refer to the masterlist entry of the snake.
- You may only resale a JS for the amount it was originaly bought for. If artwork has been commissioned for it, you may note Blacat to know discuss the resale price. Usually, I will ask for an estimate price that was paid for the commissioned artwork. Gift art/personnal art does not count in modifying the price.
- If the bought JS was traded, the new owner may not resell the JS, only trade it. Its masterlist statue will be modifyed.
- Upon trading/reselling a JS, please notify Jape-Snakes, so that the masterlist entry of the snake may be updated to the new owner.
Miscellaneous
I keep the creative control over the species, and any design created for them. Upon owning a Jape Snake, you only own partial rights to the design. I keep the ability to deny any post-adoption changes, use the designs for promotional purpose, and even revoke the ownership if you fail to follow the rules.
