TRAITS
The traits found here are not the same as the ones used for the ARPG. For information on the rarities and restrictions of the ARPG traits, please refer to the official guides found in the ARPG group.
HORNS
BASE
For Jape Snakes, horns are only optional. While they add to their design and will be seen as more powerful, base JS do not have any horn types.
COMMON
The most common of horn types are the short horns. They can be pointing forward, be pointy, nubby, anything, as long as they are short.
UNCOMMON
Long horns are one of the horn types which can look as different from one another as one wants. As long as they are not antlers, ridged, or bone horns, long horns will pass as acceptable. A JS may either have 2 or 4 horns.
The second uncommon horn type are the fin horns. Like their name says it, these horns resemble fins, but are not soft and cannot bend.
RARE
Ridged horns are not horns by themselves, but a trait which may affect horn types, such as long horns.
Much like ridged horns, bone horns are more like a trait which may affect any horn types. The trait makes it that the horns of the JS are not covered in scales. Exemples : antelope, ram, goat, etc.
ULTRA-RARE
Antlers are any horns which have ''spikes'' protruding from them. Usually, but not limited to deer-like, antlers are generaly big, mostly found in Greater and higher types. When found on Lesser JS, the antlers are smaller than regular ones, since otherwise they would be too heavy. The ''spikes'' may be sharp or nubby.
Frontal horns, also know as rhino and unicorn horns, are with antlers, the rarest type of horns. A JS may have multiple horns, up to 3, as long as they are centred on the head. They may be placed anywhere on the skull, as long as they point toward the top... somewhat. Frontal horns may have, if only one horn, spikes on the horn.
TONGUES
BASE
-1 marking on tongue (or none)
The marking may be:
-A gradiant
-Stripes
-Spots
COMMON
-Forked tongues are considered a common trait.
UNCOMMON
-2 markings on a JS' tongue is uncommon. Here are some examples;
-Gradiant + spots
-Gradiant on spots
Gradiant + stripes
RARE
-3 markings on a JS' tongue is rare.
-Gradiant + stripes + spots
ULTRA-RARE
-Split tongues are ultra-rare. Unlike forked tongue, it causes the JS to have 2 tongues.
EYES
BASE
Much like horns, pupils are optional for JS. How does it works ? No one really know. It's magic, I guess.
COMMON
-Known as pupilless, this eye type allows for only the sclera and the iris to show, the pupil being the exact same color as the iris'.
-Round pupils
-Frog pupils
UNCOMMON
-Slit pupils are an uncommon type of eyes. They can be compared to a cat's eyes, or crocodiles' eyes.
-Triangular pupils
RARE
-Dotted-slit pupils are a rare combinaison of slit and round pupils.
-Button pupils may have 3 or 4 dots.
-Heterochromia is a rare trait. It may cause the eyes to be completly different colors, or may be sectoral. All the examples above are valid examples of heterochromia.
ULTRA-RARE
-Cross pupils make form a "X" or a "+". They need to be the same though, otherwise it is considered twin sight. (Mutation)
-Ringued pupils
